Banks... I Hate Them.

Banks Banks Banks. I HATE THEM. I really do. You give these places all the money you have, then they you give you this 50 cent piece of plastic that (hopefully) allows you to access your money. Then when you need to pull out money from an ATM they charge you as much as 20%! Bank of America just announced they are raising their ATM fees from $2 to $3! You give them your money and they charge you to get it. back How is that even remotely fair or honest? Like Homer Simpson said, 'That's not America, that's not even Mexico..."
Then you want to go buy lunch for six dollars at a local privately owned restaurant, and they charge you an additional 75 cents for using your hand dandy pocket plastic. Why? Because they have to pay fees from the bank to take your money. The banks love to keep everybodies money, but they don't like to part with it. What happens when you get so fed up with banks altogether and decide to keep all your cash in your home. The US Government will question the money since it never got deposited to a bank. Then they could claim it was acquired through illegitamite means and then they TAKE all your money. Only now they won't charge you take it out-- it's all theirs.
Then comes over-draft fees. My God! Whoever concocted this scheme must of previously been in the mafia. Imagine this, you give me a hundred dollars to hold onto it and take payments for you. After some bills clear you only have 1 dollar with me. Then I claim someone had asked for 5 bucks because you owed it to him. But you only have 1 dollar left with me remember, so what should I do? What should any honest, responsible adult do? Decline to pay that bill! Right? No, instead, the asshole that I am, I give him the $5 bucks and charge you $40 bucks because you didn't have sufficient funds. Banks love to pay a bill you can't afford then charge you an outrageous sum-- even though they know full well you have no money. If a person doesn't have money in their account why does the bank accept the charge knowing full well this person can't afford it. Their answer? Well the business had access to your account since you gave their your debit card. So!!! If I give you my paycheck every week, then you know how much money I have and therefore know what bills I can and can't afford. The ATM card is suppose to be for my convenience, but instead its a convenient way for banks to give people full reign on your bank account.
Banks say they need the fees to help keep them in business. You have everybody in the whole countries money! The interest on that alone is in the millions. Everything else is just to keep them fat and giggly.
The only reason they can get away with this travesty is because we allow them. We need to stand up, in one voice, and tell them we are not going to accept this robbery. It's our money and we shouldn't have to pay outrageous fees to access it. We should not have to incur those large penalties when the banks are at fault for putting us into these overdraft situations. If everybody in the country, or at least those that don't have so much money the bank buy's you cigars, took all their money out for at least one day. One week, maybe. We would put such a substantial dent in their finances they would have to start treating us like people, not zeros and ones in some computer database. So everybody, lets fight this draconian travesty and STAND TOGETHER!!!
