The Businessman

A born businessman, for me creating a business is like painting a portrait. When I served as CEO of iGem Productions I created several subsidiary companies that each worked with each other synergistically. When creating a new business, I always first looked towards the most under served audience within our target market, then created the business around serving those needs.

My first business was G.D. Productions which I started in 1998. At the time I made tiny film projects and fun little music videos. This evolved into Gussam Pictures in 2002 which I started with my good friend and actor partner Sam Ford. We merged with Raven Digital a year later to make the film Suburban Depression.

Starting these small companies along my corporate experience with companies like Verizon Wireless, Wireless Toyz, CountryWide, the Firm in Beverly Hills paved the way for me helming iGem Productions.

[my thoughts ] This is my personal company that I hope will one day provide the financial freedom that will allow me to travel the world. Every other company I made was quite complex-- from the business and marketing plans, to the corporate set-up, contracts, service structure, rates, and so on. [my thoughts ] iGem Productions required the largest gamut of my skills to create and quickly blossomed spawning several subsidiary companies. What started as a production company to facilitate the creation of reality show become so much more.

[my thoughts ] This was one of the easiest to set-up and by far least expensive companies I've created that ended up being quite profitable and lucrative.

[services] Health supplement company that sells Living Sea Original and Living Sea Xtreme sea vegetable supplement.
[my thoughts ] iGem Health was the company I felt gave the most value to society. Health and nutrition are foreign concepts here in America and I believe our Living Sea product has the remarkable ability to provide life-giving dietary minerals and vitamins someone would ordinarily not be receiving as the result of a poor diet.

:: Project One Source ::

[services] Social networking site for the education industry which we also would broker bulk purchases for charter schools.
[my thoughts ] Project One Source was my first 501 (c) (3) non-profit company I founded, and it certainly took a lot of my time and our companies resources. I had to immerse myself into the world of an educator in order to best design the company around serving their needs. So I actually ran iGem from the schools library for two weeks at the gracious invitation from the principle of NEW Academy Canoga Park elementary school. It was an very interesting period in my life, I've almost forgotten what elementary school and the public school system was like.

Due to complications with our chairman I've decided to end Project One Source. It's my first, but certainly not last attempt to give something great back to the world.
